I tried to remove pistons from a TEF, but the end of the con rod is meeting the bottom of the liner, preventing the piston from coming out above the block, so I can't see a way of getting the gudgeon pin out of the piston. Any help please. [email protected]

if the con rod won't come out the top. it will come out the bottom. to put it back, leave the piston rings off the piston. put the piston in the cylinder and push it so that the ring groves show out the top, fit the rings back on the piston. compress the rings and tap the piston carefully with the handle of a hammer back down the cylinder lining up the big end over the crankshaft.
