Thanks for the info in response to my previous post about the TO-30 tractor. As of yesterday, I became the proud owner of that tractor TO-30 Ser.#86730( my first tractor of my own. Now I won"t have to keep borrowing my father-in-laws John Deere!) I am now looking for a service manuel for the TO-30 tractor. My question is: Will a copy of the original Ferguson shop manuel be a good buy as far as information on tractor maintenance and repairs? As of right now, everything works fine, but it helps to be prepared. Thanks

I agree with the other guys. The Factory Shop Manual and the Parts Manual are invaluable even if you don't so your own work.It's not a bad idea to have an owners manual also.

You might also check ebay. I have gotten deals on manuals there if I'm patient enough.

congratulations on your purchase,you will need two manuals ,one is the service and one is the parts manual,i find they work for me and i use both a lot
