I have read in the discussion that the Delco distributor for the TO-20 will work on the TE-20. What has to be done to accomplish this task? Is it simply putting it in and timing it until it runs the best? Any information would be appreciated since I am looking at this swap.
Thank you

i noticed no one answered so I will. I have a TE-20 with a Delco distributor. As long as you have the Z-120 engine the distributor will work. Make it easy on yourself and get the engine at Top Dead Center and notice where the old distributor rotor is in relation to the distributor cap terminal. Put the Delco in the same way and you should have very little tweaking of the timing to do. The points, rotor and distributor cap are different for the Delco, but are readily available. Good luck.
