I was wondering if there is a weight bracket out there for my TO-20 or if anyone has any ideas ways to fab one up. Also, my throttle lever will not stay at high idle when I mow or other things. Is there an adjustment to keep the lever from walking back to low idle? Thanks!

You can adjust the throttle clamp spring at the back of the air filter, it is a bit awkward to do though. I used to use a speed brace and socket to slacken off the clamp nut then lever the speed brace off the air filter to compress the spring, at the same time making sure that the long throttle rod under the dash was pushed fully forward, then I would tighten the clamp again. If this doesn't cure the problem you will have to change the friction disc which involves pulling out the long throttle rod to do it and you then have to reset the governor on the engine, you cant just stick it all back together. If you need information on resetting the governor email me at:- fergusontractors at tiscali dot co dot uk and I will send it with the diagrams. To get the correct PTO speed on these tractors, the engine should run at 1500rpm which is 3/4 throttle

Compatibility may be an issue -- found a picture of a front bumper mount in Parts & Pieces. Willy N made it for his TO-30. Removable, too.
good luck
