Looking at a tractor SN TE 376773. Numbers on axle Z120A-600 Also s2 (or 52) D162. I know its English but what else. Year. Engine size. Is it a continental engine. Parts ????? Can the brakes be changed without pulling the axle?? Looks like the pan can be pulled without spliting tractor. Anything????

Your serial number is incorrect, TE20 with a Continental engine were only made up to number TE48,000. You can remove oil pan without splitting the tractor. Brakes can be renewed without removing axle-shaft, I think that you were meaning the axle itself though, well no need for that. It is basically the same as the TO20 with a few differences. So mostly what applies to TO20 applies to this one too.

If it says Z 120 on the lower left side of block...it is a Continental engine. To change rear brakes, remove rear wheel and then hub and they are looking at you. Don"t breath the brake dust as it"s asbestos and not good for you....use a parts brush to clean it out and brake cleaner (aerosol). Look for oil on the brakes....that means a rear seal is leaking. To change it you have to pull the axle and should be better than just a novice mechanic. Fred OH
