I have two questions! First of all, will a radiator for a Ford 8n, 9n, fit on a te-20? Next, what is the biggest brush hog or mower that i can run on this same mower. Will the motor put out enough rpm's to run a 5 or 6 foot mower? Thanks for all info in advance!!!!!

Its doubtful if the Radiator is the same on a Ford as the TEA.(Nothing is impossible though) It depends on how old your tractor is as to what horsepower the engine develops, 85mm engines develop most horsepower and will drive a 5 foot mower and under certain conditions it will drive a 6 foot mower. If it is the earlier 80mm engine, stick with 5 foot to be sure. Engine revs has nothing to do with what it will drive, if the engine is running flat out (2000 rpm) its too fast on the PTO anyway, it should run at 545 PTO revs which is 3/4 throttle (1500 engine RPM.) It is the horsepower that you need to cut grass, the longer the grass (or wider the cut) the more horsepower you need. You can get around this by taking a shorter cut (leaving the grass longer) and then taking a second cut. Depends on what you want.

Morning Bryan86
I own a 1952 TEA-2085 and she runs a 6 ft wide bush-hog quite well. I norfmally run her in 2nd gear with about half throttle. Works great

Your TE-20 will handle a 5 foot 3 point hitch brush hog or finish mower. Install a over ride clutch-PTO adapter so that the mower doesn't push the tractor after you depress the clutch pedal. Those mower blades spin quite a while, and they can opush you into a fence or ditch or whateever. A 6 foot mower is a little too much for a TE-20, but work fine on a TO-30 or TO-35. I don't know about the radiator enterchange with a Ford. But I doubt if they will work. The TE-20 radiator was made in England.
