TO 30 Battery cover/hold down

Well I am not proud of it, but I bought a hold down for a Ford 9N (aftermarket) 6 volt battery and some 10" hold down J hooks and they work great. Just need to cut the top of the hooks down 1/2" and the hood will close. So now I have retired my rubber bungie.

ps.
If anyone has a drawing of a real Ferguson cover I would still like to make up a good restoration cover for my tractor.

I have posted pages in Parts and Pieces from an original Harry Ferguson Parts manual that shows an exploded view of the battery box for the To-20, To-30 as well as for the Tea-20

Hi Jim: search in Parts and Pieces for To-30 and also for Tea 20 (use separate searches). That should bring up the link to the photos, at least it did for me when I checked. Listed as electrical and related--battery box.

there is a picture of one in the parts & pieces section of this web page. It is taken from the right side only. I have been able to look in the owners manuals with some success but the ionly shots are not in the battery section but another area, i think the carb section. Some where I had a drawing from a parts catalogue that was nice but I have not seen it for some time.

I have almost finished my fiberglass reproduction. I will have to mate it to a ford tie down though. We'll see how it turns out.
