We had a number of sites around London and elsewhere in the UK and Ireland. I considered my home base to be our labs in Tonbridge. But I also worked in Harlow, Cork Ireland, Welwyn Garden City and at the old Beecham HQ on the A4, between the Heathrow and the city. (close actually to the Fuller's Brewery, which makes my favorite beer, London Pride).

I had a place there on a farm just south of Crockham Hill, near Edenbridge in Kent (very close to the Surrey border). I lived in a converted oast house.. I did enjoy those times!

Thanks for that George, but you were at the wrong end of the UK to me. The Beecham H.O we all know is the one in the local town where it all began before the merger with Smith-Kline, it is now part of the local College of Further Education or some such. Worked near the brewery did you, who did you have to bribe for that posting....lol....Regards....John
