I have a stock 1952 TO30. Still has the 6 volt system. Can I get a tach for it? What would I have to change to put one on it?

Thanks for the help.

contact Westach, they have a website but the 6 volt pos ground tachs are not listed. You have to call them but can provide them on request.

I installed a digital tach on my TO-20 last year and have been really happy with it. Didn't realize I had a linkage adjustment problem that was limiting me to ~1600 RPM's until I installed the tach.
I got one of those little battery powered digital tach's from Northern Tools, I have seen them sold at other places as well. They cost ~$30-40, they have a pick-up wire that wraps around your #1 spark plug wire so it doesn't matter if you run 6V or 12V. I just glued mine right to the dash. It worked just fine thru the Winter and still runs good. Also tracks run hours so I have an idea how often to change the oil. Best little thing I ever installed on my TO!
