Hello I have become the proud owner of a working but needs TLC ?TE 20. But have no manual. I am working on that. I am experiencing problems with the 3pt hitch not working and was going to investigate the problem but I for some reason am not able to locat a parking brake. I wish not to work on it Running without it. My luck Id get run over.

What the guys have said about the latch on the brake pedal is correct, you can operate it with your toe when you get used to it. If you need help with your hydraulic problem email me at fergusontractors at tiscali dot co dot uk and i will send you the information you need, just tell me what it is doing or not doing.

push down all the way on the right side foot brake ,there is a little clip that you have to manually set so that it engages the teeth on the area by the foot peg,this may be stiff or covered with grease if it wasnt used by the last owner,thats the only hand brake i know of ,as for the hydraulics ,there is a lever behind your left leg move it and that engages the pto shaft to run the hydraulic pump,
get used to being carefull around the tractor and you will have a lot of fun,

The "parking break" is a toggle on the right foot pedal. Be very careful around the PTO as this tractor does not have live hydraulics. Better yet, get a PTO cover. The PTO is spinning at 550 rpm and can grab loose clothing, and cause sever harm in the blink of an eye.
