Hello All,

Thanks in advance for your help. What is the best manual for a to-20. In particular I would like something that has parts exploded diagrams and lots of pictures. Part number references would be good also.

Matt: The link that Jeff gave you is great. I too have a TO-20. I purchased the two manuals from these folks and was very happy with the service. The manuals are superb and what they don't clearify, the great minds in this discussion group have either solved already (look in the archives) or will help you solve in good order. So far I haven't run into anything they have not already discussed in great detail. Again my thanks to all the people in this discussion group.

My personal preference is the three part Ferguson factory manual set;the Shop Manual, the Parts Manual and the Owners Manual. Generally they are reprints of the original factory manuals. You can shop around and find them at various prices. They have very good system description that help you learn how the individual systems work. They are pricey compared to the IT manuals, but if you are short on experience, they provide much more information. The Parts Manual is invaluable for seeing how the assemblies go together as well as having the factory part numbers and quantities, etc. If you're going to do your own work or have to decide whether to tackle a job or determine whether a major system rebuild is within your capabilities, the factory manuals are your best bet, in my opinion.
