I have a TO-35 and I am going to be using it for mowing and various chores associated with maintaning a 5 acre grass flying field for radio controlled model airplanes. We must keep a relatively smooth surface, and are thinking about making a roller out of concrete pipe. The roller will be about six feet in length, and anywhere from 20 to 30 inches in diameter. We've estimated the weight to be anywhere from 2500 to 3800 pounds. What do you think the maximum weight that the roller should be for the old Ferguson to pull comfortably? The site is relatively flat with little or no "grade" to worry about. Any advice would be appreciated as I don't want to hurt the tractor.

Hunk of concrete..30" dia, 6' long? Hmm...
This is a totally unscientific opinion, but I
don't think my TO-20 would notice it. However,
word of advice...keep your drawbar LOW. Don't
want to see anyone get squished by backflip.

I do RC-Planes too. Did you see the TWISTER or
LUNCHBREAK BIPE in Model aviation? That was
me :]
