Thanks to Paul Thiucke of Wisconsin for sending me a bunch of pictures showing how he replaced sure seals on his TO20.
I made a web page about it since the topic comes up here so often. I would like to know if what is shown there applies equally to the TEA series, as I cannot recall off hand, so if anyone knows please advise and I will update the site accordingly.
Thanks,
Jim

Hi Gene,
Try again, sometimes it only lets in so much traffic at once.
Seems to be working pretty well now, but if you still have a problem get back to me.
Jim

I have a question to. Will they also fit a 59 TO-35 and a 61 MF-35?

The TO30 most already have the second seal fitted, the Sure seal is for the tractors without this second seal. If your axle seals are leaking and they have the two seals already fitted you will have to have the axle-shaft pulled down and new seals and possibly bearings fitted. Are you sure it is the seals anyway and not just the gasket worn away because the nuts have been slack allowing it to move.Have you actually looked where the leak is coming from, can you see the seals leaking or have you taken it that because there is a leak it must be the seals, it's not always them.

Hi Jim, Yes pretty certain they are the same and looking at your pics I am even more convinced they are. I know the Sure seal fits the TE series

Jim, just checked out your webpages. They are awesome! Keep up the good work ! I've been threatening to tear into my axle seals, I know they leak, and my brakes only work on one side. With the pic's from Paul and your explainations... I'm more inclined to tear into mine and install new seals.... maybe this weekend!
