i have 51 to30 11.2-28 rear tires calcium filled, what should the pressure be?do you really need the special guage to check calcium tires?how do you use the special guage,i read you submerge guage in water first with the reader stick fully extended, filling barrel of guage, but when you put it on the tire valve is all the water to be out of guage or do you leave water in guage to check.thanks

I have the same size tires with calcium. I check mine at the 12 o clock position, like the other guys said, use a regular air guage, I usually press the air valve in a little to blow out any water before checking. I run ~10 psi.

I put them at the 12:00 position, as someone has already mentioned.

Then I use an air hose to shoot a little air into the tire just to clear out the valve stem.

Then I used the tire gauge a few times on one of the front tires to blow out any calcium that might have gotten in the gauge anyway.

I only run 7# in my MF35 rears. Lots of flotation and a better ride that way.

I check mine by moving tractor tire, until valve stem is at 12 O-Clock point. For checking pressure I use a small round plastic gauge and it has never been ruined yet.
