to30 water pump housing

hey guys, i am taking my to30 (z129) engine down for major overhaul this winter and have the block stripped down to parade rest. that is, everything except the waterpump housing. i have taken the waterpump off, and removed the only two nuts that i can find in the housing itself and gently tried to persuade the housing off with a hammer to no avail. anything i am missing or am i not persuading it strongly enough? any tips would be appreciated.

M. Chapp is right. There are three spaced 120 degrees apart.
