Solid Gray Ferguson TO-35?

Were any early TO-35"s that were solid gray (not two tone) and that were standard (not live) PTO? My recollection from childhood was that we (my family) had a ferguson tractor of 1954 or "55 vintage with a "bigger engine" that was solid gray and without live PTO.

Thank you for your comments. It was not a TO-35. After a little research (my father"s 50 year old farm/IRS records) this weekend, I have determined that my recollection of the time was wrong. My father bought me the tractor (TO-30) in Feburary 1952. The price was $1910 for the tractor, a 3pt 2-14" plow, and a 3pt two row cultivator.

Possibly you are getting mixed up with the TO20/30 because the look very similar on the hood as a TO35. Non-live PTO could be a TO20/30 and also a TO35. Best guess is it was a TO30. from your description, all grey non-live PTO.

4-speed trany : could be a TO-30
6 speed : could be a TO-35, FE40
Solid gray one color : I remember a Massey Harris Ferguson 35(this was printed on a side hood decal believe me), circa 1960 that fits the description but apparently I am the only one in the world who remember that!
From 1954 to 1957 there was many colors and decals that seem to be for "local" market, depends on which country.
In the fifties I saw a marketting picture of a TO-35 (not a Fe40 beige and metallic gray)for Canada and the colors were beige and dark green, remember that one ?
I remember also another MHF - TE/TO front grille typical, one color and 6 speed trany.

There was a 1954 Ferguson TO-30 that fits your description. It had a bigger engine than the earlier TO-20. To my knowledge, there were no TO-35s that fit your description.
