Anybody replaced a exhaust manifold on Z134 latley? How can you get the top center nuts off, without removing the gas tank? Thanks for your help. Kent in Texas.

Kent, I used my torch to bend a wrench into an ell and welded a piece of flat bar to it. I used it like a crow-foot. Tedious and aggravating for sure. I doubt if removing the tank would be any more trouble. Regards, Cosmo

I just did mine two weeks ago and just took the tank off. It's only two bolts in the back and two spring loaded nuts on carrage bolts in the front. Disconnect the fuel line and your done. I just shut the fuel off at the sediment bowl and disconnected the fuel line at the bowl. I even left the tank half full. Took all of 5 minutes. Besides it will leave you plenty of room to clean the old manifold gasket off of the head.
