My father is restoring a Massey Ferguson Model 65. He provided the following info: Model 65, Serial # SGM681494. It has a Continental engine #6176 22833. Can any one point me in the correct direction as to any info on this machine, especially the engine. Thank you in advance and please send any info to me directly at [email protected]

It is a G176 Continental. MF doesn"t have much left for the G176. Best parts source I have found for the engine is Montes Equipment. Don"t mess up your radiator. New radiators for the gas 65 are not available (diesel radiator won"t fit), and even used ones are difficult to come by.

Your MF65 was built in early 1961. It was rated at approx. 48 HP and was marketed as being able to pull a 4 bottom plow. If you do not have any manuels, parts books, etc. The cheapest place to get these is directly from Massey- Ferguson. You can drill down to MF in your part of the world (N.A., Europe, Asia etc) and find a local dealer. If you can get a full line dealer you will pay a little less than if received from a partial line dealer (I can't figure dealer pricing either...)

Also go the the Massey page and find a link to BIG DEAN's web site for great info.
