TO-30 hydraulic fluid.

How many gallons of hydraulic/trans. fluid does the TO-30 hold and is there just one fill hole? Also, where is the hydraulic pump and does it need to be primed, bled out, etc.? My three point does not seem to be raising. Last time I ran it, it worked fine. I thought I might drain the fluids and see if that helped, is there anything else I might want to look at?

5 gallon buckets of GL-1 Mineral oil are available from NAPA PN 65-205. They do not usually stock it but can get it from the central wearhouse in a day or two.

yes 80-90 wt. is right but it's not gear oil it's mineral oil a world of difference MASSEY no. is M1103 or other brands it's GL-1 [[[not]]] GL-3 or GL-5

The TO-30 holds 6 Gallons of GL-1 90 wt. gear oil The transmission fill hole will fill the complete gear case. The pump is located below the lift arm cover on the bottom of the housing and will not require priming. There are three drain plugs on the bottom and you need to pull all three to get all of the oil out of the tractor. Dave

It holds 24 US quarts GL1 80 weight oil below 50 deg or 90 weight above 50 deg.
