TO-30 Front end loader?

Has anyone ever seen or heard of a TO-30 having a front end loader? I just saw a Ford 8N with one. It had a bolt on loader frame. The loader was powered with a direct drive engine driven pump. The 8N is the same in size with my 1954 T0-30. I would love to put one on my machine.

Yes, I have a Wagner WM3 loader on my TO-30, and it came off a Ford 8N. It bolted up pretty easily, with just some washer spacing on the "stinger" between the pump and tractor pully. As an aside, the 8N loaders work well on a 30, but do not fit the 35 easily, i.e., without mods. As someone else said, with the loader and no power steering, you will have some effort steering and won't want to use the tractor for much else. For example, it is hard to bush hog with a loader on these tractors, and you won't have enough traction to plow. Make sure you have plenty of fluid in the rear tires.

I have a 53' fergie with a freeman loader with a trip bucket. works great ready to put 7-1/2' western blade for pushing snow. The dearborn loaders make it to hard to get on tractor. Mine getting on tractor just like normal. I can email pictures.

Thanks for the fast reply. I sure would like to see a picture of it. I have 2 other tractors in my collection but this TO-30 has been the most fun to play with.

I grew up with a TO-30 with a Freeman front end loader with trip bucket. The hydraulics were originally powered by a Charlynn pump which was driven off the front of the engine crankshaft. We used it for loading manure and for snow moving. We found very heavy bucketloads would snap the drive shaft on the pump as it passed through the front axle.

I now have a TO-30 of my own and would like to find a good front loader for it.

I bought my first tractor in Sept. of this year. What sold me on it was the front end loader and the blade on back. Everything I need from a tractor to use around here. The loader works off the front shift coming from under the radiator. It is a full functional bucket, not a trip bucket. I thought it was a ford until I got the tractor home. It is a to-30. My first tractor and I am in LOVE. I only problem with the shift out front is I am not able to tilt the hood up to look at the battery. I left the grill in place and used a couple over center latches to snap the top of the hood to the grill. I can now unsnap the latches and lift the hood from the grill and have access to everything. I know not orginal but really functional.

I have one on my 51 TO30,love it,the brand name is LORD.has its own hydraulic pump to run it,heavy duty loader,real pain to steer with it on so if I know i'm not using it for a while i take it off,just bought a dirt scoop for tractor(3pt.hitch mounted)love it,now I don't use my loader as much but its nice if you need to load dirt into a truck or something.
