TEA20 TIMING?

I.AM STILL NOT HAVEING ANY LUCK WITH MY TEA20 STILL TRYING TO GET IT IN TIME. NEED HELP!! BOGGER.

You have to find the timing marks first. Contrary to any material I have read on TEA20's the timing marks on mine are located as follows. Remove the starter, about 1" under the starter is a hole approx 3/8" round. Turn the crank until you see a single 3/8" hole on the flywheel. Line up these two holes (a phillips screwdriver through the two holes) This is top dead centre. Set your rotor to plug #1. I advanced my timing slightly from there but that is where I started.
