I was a mechanic and service manager for Massey Ferguson dealers for 27 years. There is nothing you can put in backwards the disc are the same on both sides & so is the actuator. There are two thing that could be causing you not to have brakes. One is you have to remove the glaze on the metal parts that contact the brake disc by roughing them up with a course sand paper or emery cloth. The other is the spreader balls in the actuators may be pitted or have a little flat place on them and the tear drop recesses they work in could be rusty & dirty. If I can be of further help Email me
