Hello, I have a friend who would like to sell a TO-20. I know nothing about them but told him I would help him post some ads. The serial number tag is unreadable except for the stamped info. Could someone direct me to a website where I could decipher the numbers? Thanks. FYI, the stamped numbers I'm seeing are:
Z120 (long space, then) 107927 These are in big numbers, then underneath are:
0 0 20 30
I'd like to find out what year this is and anything else I can. Thanks.

Your on the right track...keep searching
ytmag.com. Find the "Ferguson" links. Not the
"Massey Ferguson" links. You should be able
to find lots of links and info on the TO-20
on Ferguson pages. You might start with the
"Links" link to the left. Serial Number info
should be no prob. to find. If you check around
and still can't find the info, drop me an email
and I'll give you more specific info.

P.S. The Z120 number refers to the standard
engine found in TO-20 tractors. (Continental
Z120, I think.

The numbers you gave are from the engine. hard to tell for sure but possibly a late 49, maybe 50. Look under the steering wheel for another plate. Sitting on the tractor the plate is very obvious. This is the SN you need to tell the year from for certain.
