The TE-20 and the TO-20 are the "Same" Tractor. They have the same engine, transmission and horsepower. (Contential Z-120). The TE (Tractor England) was built in the UK while Ferguson got his Detroit plant started. The TO (Tractor Overseas) was built in Detroit. Same Basic design...Same Basic Tractor... That said, there are some minor piece part differences. Most noteably the Lucus vs. AC Delco electral parts. These are available but you do need to know, what to look for. Other differences are minor styling changes and transmission housing material. If you are looking at a 1950 -20 verify if you are looking at a TE-20 or a TEA-20. The TEA-20 is another varient on the same basic tractor. Biggest difference is that the TEA did not have a contential engine, but has a Standard Triumph Engine. Easiest way to check is the oil fill tube... TE-20 front left of engine & internal oil filter, TEA-20 oil fill tube is in the left rear of enging and it has an external oil fileter. All are good and the same basic design. Jeff
