I have a 1955 TEA20, and it would'nt start unless I remove sparkplug no. 2 from the front.

I have changed the head gasket, has grinded and adjusted the valves.

But it still would not start.

Please can anybody give me som advise, about what to try next!

Best regards

Thormod R Hansen

Do you have a spark at all? Is the fuel flow to the carburettor ok? Is the compression on all 4 cylinders good or at least equal? Points should be set to .012" & plugs should be Champion L10 or equivalent and set to .030" Is it drawing air at the carb to manifold gasket or is it drawing air at the manifold to cyl.head gasket. Is the valve cover gasket fitted properley so its not drawing air at that point too. If you are still in trouble email me at fergusontractors at hotmail dot com

It turns out that it was something wrong with the coil. I had a spark, but it was not strong enough.
So, new coil, new running Fergie !
