TO 20 Oil Change

There is a removable plate on the bottom of the oil pan, and there is a drain plug in the plate. Unfortunately,the drain plug does not come out. It turns but stays where it is, so I have to remove the whole plate to drain the oil, which usually results in a mess. Has anyone else run into this? Also, where can I get a replacement plate with a functioning drain plug?

The plug screws into a nut which is welded to the upper (inside) of the plate. You probably need to get the plate off and have a quick weld of the nut back into place. Then you should, using some form of rust breaking compound, be able to make the plug work again.
