Speaking of oil pans...

I just got around to changing oil and filter in my TO-20. First time sinc I've owned it. The center bolt that holds on the filter "cover disk" had a thin copper shim for a washer. The oil drain plug had one too. When I looked in the parts book, it seemed that they had originally used much thicker washers. What were they originally made of? Whare can they be obtained now? My local Massey-Ferguson dealer?

they are copper and they are about as thin dime and they are NOT a shim they are the sealing washer most cars and trucks still use them on the oil plug
