Gino, I hope this post finds you after you have fixed your problem, I agree with the other posters that it is probably a fuel issue. After sitting for 5 months it is either sediment or varnish but definitely sounds like a fuel problem. Follow the fuel on down the line from the tank. 1) clean the sediment bowl. Does the fuel re-fill the bowl quickly? 2) Is fuel getting to the carb, remove the drain plug and drain fuel out, Turn on the fuel at the filter and see if you have good strong flow at the drain plug. If not then do the following... a) Check the fuel flow through the line. Remove the fuel line at the carb. Turn the fuel on does it run freely? If not Remove fuel tube completely and blow clean, also check top of the sediment filter for good flow. b) Check the carb filter. With fuel line removed, remove the brass elbow at carb intake. Clean the filter screen. a & b are good things to do anyway. Also, be careful not to cross thread the fuel line nut into the elbow, as both are brass you can strip the threads easily if not lined up right... 3) If good flow at the drain plug but problem persists then it is time to clean the carb. Pull it, get a good varnish cleaner and replace the seals. Take a careful note to the direction of the Venturi as you pull it apart. There is a large end and a small end, note which end goes up. Hope this helps... Jeff
