Back in August there was post by John (Uk) about an a hydraulic tapping point on a TEA20. Read post>Link

I>Link am looking at putting a MileMarker Hydraulic winch on my TEA20 to pull my boat off the beach. Does anyone know what sort of pressure PSI these ports produce?

You will get a pressure of approx 2000 psi and an oil flow of approx 2.5 gall per min max....allowing for wear on this system.

Running on memory, I think the early TE series gave around 1700 psi before the safety valves goes, and the later ones around 2000 or 2,200 psi.

If you allow for 2,500 then you will have a decent safety margin for whatever seals/cylinders you are going to run off the system.

Flow rates are not high on these tractors, so do not expect lightning responses to your commands!!

I have taken out the two bolts to tap the hydraulic pressure to run my winch. However, there is a funny rod with washes and springs that were pressing against the bolts. Do I remove this rod, or leave it in?
