Sparkplugs for FE35

Im changing the sparkplugs in my FE35 (1957) gas tractor.
Existing ones are Bosch W8AC (...same as vw beetle??).
The new ones sold to me are Champion L86C.

The plugs fits, but are they correct regarding heat and resistance?

Thanks for the answers!
I have now fitted the plugs, with a 0.03" gap, and the tractor started very easy.

Looks like the replacement was needed.

I take it you are running the engine on Petrol, if this is the case that plug L86C is ok, the gap should be .030" - .032"

There is a saying here "If the shirt fits, wear it" and the same can be applied to plugs, too.

Resistance should not be an issue - how 'hot' they run may be, but try them and see what colour they are in a few weeks. You should not do any harm in trying.

On my TVO TED I use Champion N7 or N9 - with the gap at 35 thou (as its TVO) they seem to work fine.
