Oil specifications for TED20

Hello to all.

Few weeks ago a have asked for the original spark plugs for my TED: Now he is running!
But now I want to do oil changes, engine, hydraulic and gear box.

Has anyone the specifications for the right oil I can use and in additional the right filters?

It was always specified for UK SAE40 oil but you can use a multi-grade if the engine is in good order probably 20w/40 is right. The oil filter is Sparex part # S40535 if you cant find a filter post here again.

The hydro-trans. oil is a GL1 90 mineral oil. This is Massey number M1103 and runs $37./5gal.

Shell Oil also make is under the Dentax name and is also aroung $37.00 /5 gal.

TSC has a Ford Transmission oil which is a GL-3 for $35/5gal

and the best price I have found for the GL-1 is at NAPA for $26 and change for a 5 gallon. It is NAPA #65-205.

I use straight 40 SAE in the engine and transmision/gearbox/hydraulics as per the manual and have had no problems. I have a sloping filter and you can get the filters from your local Sparex supplier. I f you are in the UK try Holland-Brand, Old 20 etc.
