T-30 Plug Wires and Gas from Carburetor

I bought plug wires that have copper wire but it is strands of copper instead of one solid copper core. Will that work properly for the T-30 or could that be the cause of mine shutting down after about 10 minutes?

Also, when I initially take the plug out of the bottom of the carburetor the gas flow is pretty heavy for a few seconds then it barely runs at all. Is that the proper behavior.

The plug wires should be fine. The fuel flow isn't though. the initial flow is from the bowl in the carb...then it slows down because the flow into the carb is restricted somewhere. Check if your carb has an elbow leading into it from the fuel pipe, if it has check if it has a filter in that elbow, they very often have and they will get blocked fom time to time. if the filter is ok check the flow from the tank and work back to the fuel tap and finally the filter in the tank if there is one on your tap. Also check th little breather hole in the tank cap isn't blocked.

Wires are ok. Bad ignition condensor or coil will fail with heat.

Fuel screen is clogged. This is probably why it stalls out until the carb can refill.
