Hi Steve - Settling is the nature of the beast. And the factory cure for the external hydraulics without a switch valve was a pair of braces to hold the lift arms stationary about a foot off the ground. In the remote configuration you have, the three point ram and your loader cylinders are in parallel, and the cyl with the least resistance moves first. The braces duplicate the weight you have on the three point, but provide a more positive lock. The extra bars were mounted with the three-point drawbar and sway bars to provide a stationary drawbar on the three point arms. 1/4" x 2 1/2" strap, about 30" long, and a bend and 7/8 - 3/4 holes on each end, they coupled to the outer ends of the drawbar and the upper ends were secured to the top link attach pin. Some were 2 piece adjustable to provide different ground clearance heights. The triangle configuration provided a solid drawbar, and also locked the internal hydraulic cylinder to provide effective remote performance. You may have noticed that the loader worked faster when the load on the three point arms kept the arms lowered. This is another quirk in the system. The internal mechanism reduces pump oil delivery as the lift arms are raised, until the arms reach the full up position, when there is almost no oil flow at all. Hope this helps!
