I sold a guy a load of straw tonight. When I backed the truck in the barn, there was a propane TO-30 sitting there. I was shocked - I've never seen a propane ferguson before.

So I'm curious - How common were these? Were there other models made other than the TO-30?

Any particular problems with them? I have no experience with propane tractors.

Thanks for any info..... ..... ...

There were no propane Ferguson tractors produced in the US. What you saw was undoubtedly an after-market conversion.

Well, you were right - as much as it pains me to admit it. (-:

I looked the thing over tonight BEFORE it started to get dark. The propane thingy is definitely an add-on.

I still may buy the thing, though. We need a TO-20 or TO-30 to run the side mounted baler and stuff with. This tractor would be perfect for that.

The best part is the guy only wants $800 for it. Definitely hard to pass up a running Ferguson at a price like that.

Really???

It looked professional. The propane tank is in place of the gas/diesel tank. It sticks up through a hole in the hood - Kind of a funny looking "bump".

I plan to go look at the thing again tonight. I'll take my digital camera and get some shots of it. Let me know if you're interested in seeing them and I'll email them to you.

The picture has to be uploaded to a website; then you put the link to it in the space below the message section called "Optional Image URL".
If you want I can do it as I have some space available; just email me the picture.
