You said you made two of the position controls. What adheasive did you use to attach the friction plat to the box beam?

I din't even use a friction disc. None available locally so I stopped by my local saddle maker an had him cut me out a couple leather disc and punch a 3/8 hole in them. They were too tight dry so I rubbed a little 30w oil on them. Presto Works great. The only hard part to find was a suitable spring. Most hardware springs were too light. I did find one in my junk at work just long enough to cut and make two.

I drew the dimensioned drawings and have made a few. There is no need to use any adhesive on the friction plate. I just bought the same cork friction plate made for the quadrant and keep it in place with the 7/16 carriage bolt.
