Does anyone know if there is a fuel tank cap that has a guage that will fit a TO-20? I want to keep my dash original but really like to have a fuel guage. I would prefer to mount one temporarily but I cant't think of a way. Has anyone had any success with this?

Is the TO-20 fuel tank the same as the 9N, 2N and 8N Ford? If the filler neck is the same and the depth is the same, then I have a gauge that will work.

The tank on the TO-20 is on top of the engine under the hood. The hood lifts up so that a neck is not necessarry. The cap is mounted nearly flush with the tank. It is very similar to an older boat metal gas tank. I will measure the hole and the cap. Thanks.

Harry Ferguson thought of this. The sediment bowl shut-off knob controlls a reserve fuel(one gallon). Open the knob two turns for normal use, and if you run out of gas open the knob completely to access that last gallon of gas. I've never been stranded out of gas yet, and Dad bought this TO30 new in 1953. Any cap higher than the original will interfere with hood closing. To prove this lay something higher on the gas tank next to the cap and lower the hood.

Thanks, I had someone else tell me the same thing, but they didn't know how many times to turn the valve on the sediment bowl. Sounds like 2 turns does the trick.
