I'm trying to get hold of the manuals for the Ferguson TED.

I phoned the local Ferguson distributors in South Africa. "AIM (SPARTAN) LTD" and was told that if I want to order the manuals (which they have on CD) it will cost be R6000 (600 pounds) !!!

That's rediculous! How can I get the manuals at a normal price ?

Looks like the TED20 manual is available on this site. And they will ship worldwide (manuals only, no parts). Click on the link below, scroll to the bottom to manuals. Hope this helps!

I have that manual and it's excellent. It covers the British made TE series including the TED.
Don't let that outfit get you down; I've fixed up a few TEAs and am restoring one now and somehow or other have been able to find most everything.
Some engine parts from the Triumph TR2-4 will fit, as both the car and the tractor were made sy the Standard Motor Company. The car parts are easy to find.

I bought the manuals on CD from ebay for less than 10, I think the same person still has some to sell, do a search on ferguson or TED20 and you should find them, If there is none then I may be able to get a copy to you

I don't have one for sale as such, what I meant is I could possibly get you a copy. you can email me on mike at laneend dot freeserve dot co dot uk
