Hi, My TED-20 usually starts fine but it will just turn over now. I have replaced the HT Leads (were old) the coil (inside was rotten) and spark plugs. The distributor cap turned out to be working fine. I am getting spark and fuel where required. Any ideas as to how to fix this problem?

How good of a spark do you have? If you take the high tension lead out of the center of the distributor, hold it 1/4 inch away from a good ground, do you get a big fat blue spark? If not, check the primary side of the ignition for clean and tight connections. Check the voltage drop through the key switch and all the way thru to the coil. If you have a 6 volt system, you should have about 4-5 volts at the primary side of the coil. If you have a 12 volt system with a ballast resistor, you shouls see the same voltage at the primary side of the coil.
Have you checked the distributor timing? If your are getting good spark and fuel, you have to have the correct spark timing to get it started. If your distributor is worn, you may have too much radial play in the distributor shaft and you'll have a weak spark. Systematically check these things out if everything is OK, get back to this forum.
