Just found this board. I'm actually a John Deere man, but have a TO 20 I use on a 5 ft. bush hog under trees. They tend to knock mufflers and intake pipes off those tall green guys. Last year that TO 20 got real tired and I pulled the head and took it to a local machine shop. He and i believed that the sorry state of the exhaust valves and seats was partly due to use of unleaded gas. The good news was he was able to get new valves and hard seats from Continantal. Total cost for parts, machining, and a gasket set was about $325.00. That old girl runs like brand new now. Didn't even pull the pistons. Any one else experience this ?? next step is a Zane Thang.

About the Zane Thang. I shipped a Zane Thang from the states to Australia just before Christmas last year. I finally got around to fitting it yesterday (Feb 23rd)- all sorts of reasons and excuses for the delay. It has to be the best yet since sliced bread. I fitted my slasher (bush hog) and away I went - no more mucking about with trying to get it to stay at the same height.
THE ZANE THANG REALLY WORKS A TREAT. You will not regret fitting one - only if you take as long as I did to finally get it on the Fergie.
