I think I just bought a TO 20 instead of a TO 30

Hey everybody,
I just bought a parts tractor that was advertised as a TO 30. I own a TO30. Now that I am looking at the serial # 11529 it looks like maybe I bought a TO 20. Am I going to be able to use any of the parts? The block is mounted up but the rest of the engine is in boxes. Can I use the carb or manifolds or steering for the TO 30 I own?

Hello,

I really dont know the answer to your question. But I have a old Harry Ferguson trac. that has a ser. # of TO-39871. So Im guessing that it is a TO 30 but dont know, and want to find out how I can get a tractor manual for it. And is there any other tractors that are close to the same for getting parts. Thank you sorry Im no help on your problem.

You can use linkage, manifold, radiator, sheet metal, gastank and etc. Would you want to sell it.

Hey Paul,
I am glad to hear I can use the parts. I bought it for $450 which was probably too much but I factored in the fact that I only drove about 6 miles to get it. It has brand new back tires I need and a bunch of other stuff as well. I will probably just hang on to it. If I found a Z 129 engine, would it bolt on to the TO 30? Thanks,

the TO30 had the z129 engine in it, the TO20 had a z120, if I am not mistaken,,I think if you use the whole engine it would bolt up to either,some of the motor parts are different tho.
