what's the horsepower difference with the rebuild

I'm rebuilding my TO-20. I got the "power kit" rebuild set with 3 5/16 " overbore sleeves and pistons. That seemed to be the standard sleeve/piston set every place I checked.
Any idea what, if any, difference in horsepower I might expect when I'm done? There wasn't any info with the rebuild kit on that.

I guess I'm also wondering,(maybe for my next "project" tractor), if a person could rebuild a Z-120 engine with sleeves & pistons for a Z-129, with maybe a TO-30 craftshaft if I could find one cheap enough, and basically convert a a Z-120 to a Z-129 engine. Are the outside diameters of the sleeves the same for a Z-120 and Z-129? I would still be stuck with the internal oil filter, but it sounds like most of the other things are pretty similar between the two.
thanks

Since the horsepower is proportional to the airflow and the airflow is proportional to the diplacement, and since you didn't re-stroke the engine, you can figure that:

Horspower(new)/horsepower(old)=Dp(new)^2/Dp(old)^2

where Dp(new)^2 is the new piston diameter squared and Dp(old)^2 is the old piston diameter squared. That'll get you close enough. Doubt that you'll have to worry about doing burnouts with the rebuilt engine!

thanks for the help. I calculated my TO-20 will have ~28 HP.... if I do everything right on my rebuild.
