TEA Lift/Leveling Arm Seized

My lift leveling arm that connects the lift arm to the right lower link assembly of the 3 point hitch is seized. I was able to free up the top end , where the crank handle is , but the threaded rod is stuck hard into the lower fork end . I removed the grease nipple and noticed the old grease is rock hard. This week I tried to get it rotating with a set of pipe wrenches, I didn't force too hard as I don't want to break anything. Any ideas on how to get it "unstuck"?????

Not enough patience, not enough heat . I just snapped the rod inside the fork . Now I'm looking for some parts. Does anyone know of a wrecking yard for tractors in eastern Ontario????

Hi Peter. There is a few places around.One place is called Buyers in Winchester I believe. It's a wrecking yard for tractors.The phone number is 1-800-510-5505.Maybe check the phone book too for other places. Good luck. P.S A good welder might be able to fix it also.

I think that's Byer's. There is also Orser's near Belleville.
You might consider a new one as they aren't too expensive if I remember right. They're the same as on the Fords so there is a good aftermarket supply of parts.
Check Dennis Carpenter. Somewhere on the website you can download the catalogue and you will see the parts you need.
