A while back I posted a request here for any information on the Towner offset disk harrow. I've got a 2120 in fair condition and plan to give it a refurbishing this summer. It doesn't appear to have a Ferguson name plate now, but does have the original Towner plate. I've got an original Ferguson manual for an offset disk harrow which is similar, but not exactly the same. Any information or suggestions will be gratefully received. N.B. I plan to use it with a TO-20 with front wheel weights.

I too have been searching information on the Towner Disc harrows. The plate on mine says "Towner Tillage Tools" Offset Disc Harrow Model J061, Serial No. 10F136. All I have found so far is that the Towner Manufacturing company is located in Santa Ana, CA. H.F. Towner was owner in 1924, Howard Rapp was owner in 1944 and Bill Twist was owner in 1977. H.F.>Link Towner, in the 1920's, made locomotive attachments to pull railroad ore cars in the mines in Placerville, CA. The attachment sold for $750 in 1924, but he was better known for his tillage tool business.

I inherited the disc harrow along with my grandpa's 1944 Case VAC. We drove out to Madera, CA to get them and haul them back to Texas.

Have you been able to find anything further on the Towner Disc Harrow?
