Will my TO-20 pull a two bottom plow thru
hard packed Missouri clay soil? This pasture has never been plowed and is fairly hard packed. Am I better off getting a single bottom?

Any advice much appreciated.

Dave... It'll be tough but wait for the rains... I used to plow sod with mine up in that black, heavy, Iowa gumbo all the time but it was always a challange....

Thanks Clarence..that sounds like good advice.
Your the third person who has made that suggestion
so I think I'd better take the advice. But I'm afraid that even after the rains, I'm going to hit
dry hard clay about 3 or 4 inches down. I took
my soil test after a hard rain a few nights ago.. hit dry hard packed clay about 2 inches under
the mud.

Thanks much!!!

Dave... I live here in the mountians of Arkansas and we have red clay also... I don't know how those old mules ever turned it and the rocks over.
