Tractor seat - Yesterday's Tractors

Thinking of buying one of those tractor seats, you know, one with the arms and nice-n soft? Not sure if it fits over the original iron seat or you have to take the original off first. Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Jim- Where is your scence of adventure? our grandfathers and fathers worked the fields from sunrise to sunset bouncing over cobble and clod with the orginal hard metal seat and they loved it! But, that was them and this is us. My to-30 has a aftermarket shock absorbing seat that bolted right on in the originals place. Good Luck in your search. Cup holders in the padded arms would be nice. Even if you fit a seat belt you won't want to wear it - go over a few bumps and it will try to cut you in half. The retractable type are worse as they ratched up and tighten up on you as you go along until you suddenly realise that you can't breath! Is it still legal to work a tractor in America with no ROPS? Also in the Summer months, my back side seems to slip around, especially on uneven ground. I figure on putting a seat belt on the armed new seat.
