Howdy, the gasket under the hydraulics cover (under the seat) sprung a hole in it, so I replaced the gasket (not an easy job). Now that I got it back together the hydraulics dont work (PTO is OK). You can feel a little resistance in the arms, but not enough to raise them. Any ideas of what could be the problem or what I may damaged or not done? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

I have also just had exactly the same problem.

Having replaced the lift cover gasket but not sure what had to be disconnected first (whoops).

Would you mind letting us know what we now need to do to fix it. I hope it doesn't mean taking it all off again as it was not a easy job to say the least !

yep you broke the bone at the pump. you did not disconnect it.

hydraulic problem - help me marlowe & phillip!!
You say that I broke the "bone at the pump". What should I do and what is the right way of going about fixing it?? Where do I start?? does that mean the whole thing needs to come out , and if so, how do I go about it. :-(

Tom, did you disconnect the "T" handle in the control valve before lifting off the top cover? If not you very probably damaged that part. This is in the bottom, back part of the pump.
