Having a little trouble finding the proper ignition switch for my TEA. Does anyone know how the TO switch matches up or any other suggestions?

Gosh Paul, I would think just about any ignition switch would work. Is there something special about the TEA ignition sytem? It only closes the ignition circuit I believe. Try the parts folks on the left, NAPA, or an auto parts store.

Another thought. You might try bareco.com. They handle parts for British tractors.

If you have to have a Lucas switch, there are several internet vendors hawking them. Another thing you may not know is that they all use the same key so any Fergy ign. sw. from the boneyard will work. You can also get it from a Dexta. If it is just the key you need, I am pretty sure the same vendors can supply them too.

Tractorfix, I need the whole switch, I didn't lose the key. Local Massey dealer sent me a switch that was just to large. My guess woud be that the 8N switch would fit. I also plan to check NAPA as Jerry suggested. I didn't see anything on the Bareco site. Paul

The Ferguson TO-35 switch, available at MF dealers and some other places, like Stevens in LA I believe, will fit the hole and do the job perfectly. It includes notches for the lights too, which you may or may not use. Also uses the universal MF key as others mentioned.

Check out Dunlop Hydraulics. They have a web site any search engine can find. The part # is 39119. You have to go into the Dexta parts list to find it .
