i started this project with what i thought was a to20 and have a tea20. i refuse to give up on it.i started with a supposedly good tractor and ended up with an abused tractor looking for a good home.im a mechanic by day and now run a tractor orphanage by night.i love to restore muscle cars and harleys, but i never thought this could be so addicting.im amazed by the loyalty of all of you who have helped. this is one of those evenings that u question your sanity doing this type of project until u log on this site and enjoy everyones support.i think its time to mail an extra gratuity to this sites sponser. i guess i,ll go look at my sc's and ferguson open the fridge and call it all good luck. thank u all.capt kirk

I second that sentiment. I thought I would get a tractor to do some yard work. With the price of new tractors, I figured I would save a buck and get an old used TO30. Now my mind wanders all the time - wondering "Do I need to get the tractor out for this...?" I used the blade to plow the snow off my frozen back yard for my dogs today. I am rationalizing how if I had two tractors I wouldn't spend all that time changing implements.

Working in a fabrication shop doesn't help. I used the shop press to press out the PTO shaft when I replaced the rear seal. I tig welded a crack in one of the arms from the three point. I spend way to much time daydreaming at work about what new implement I can build. I made a reese hitch reciever that hangs on the blade so I can move trailers with out taking off the blade.

So now I sit here at this computer thinking "I need to make a boom attachment next..."

I had better go take some measurements.

Have you seen www.tractorbynet.com? Get logged into that thing and go to the "Build it Yourself" or "Attachments" area, and watch out!
....sorry....
