The oil seal behind Main Drive Shaft Retainer is leaking on my 35. To get to this seal is it the same as getting to the seal on my TE20? I replaced the seal on my TE20 last spring. I have the 35 split and noticed the leak. Also, the seal on the PTO shaft is leaking. Does this shaft (on the 35) come out the same way as the shaft on my TE20?

Don't know about mainshaft but PTO shaft comes out like T20. (if TO35 is the same as the MF35) Changing seal is easy. To get shaft out I would put an old shaft on and belt it with a hammer to draw it out. There's a large O ring you might need to change too.

I had to do mine a couple of years ago, and it is a lot harder job to replace than a TO20 or 30. You will need help from someone that has done the job before. says i alvinnms.
