Hi guys.. I'm a regular over on the 9n2n8n forum, but am posting this here as you guys use contenental eng's in your fergies... hopefully someone can help me with a parts source.Well I ~was~ on vacation this week staying home to tend to the wife after some surgery, but just got called into work after our oldest piece of equipment broke down. We do road construction, and one of the vehicles we use is a liquid asphalt distribuitor.. basically a cab / chassie truck fitted with a tank to hold emulsified ( water and liquid asphalt )asphalt. There are heat tubes in the tank and was originally heated by a deisel /fan blown pump setup. Pump also mixed the asphalt with a shaft into the tank to an adjitator.
The brand of this tanker unit is 'littleford' The power unit mounted on the back of the tank to run the diesel blower / adjitator is a flat head 'red seal' continental engine... same vintage as our fords and fergusions. ( we converted the heater to propane, but the engine is still gas, points, etc. In fact.. I've been the one keeping this thing going, as it is so similar in operation / maintenance as my old 8n. Anyway, it had problems this am, mechanic pulled the little tranny off the back, exposed clutch ( 9" clutch.. or at least 8 7/8 .. etc.. and flywheel is missing teeth. None of our local parts houses has ever heard of redseal.. and don't list contenental parts. This machine is old.. somewhere from late 30's to 50's I grabbed as many numbers as were vissable, and will relate here:

F 400A421/S 3 in the bellhousing near the flywheel: F600B600 On a barely legible tin tag under the oil cannister: 2397 3040
We are in the process of trying to locat a machine to update this one with, but would greatly appreciate any help locating parts for this one as we are in a crunch.
